Welcome to C-Vault, your Company B key management system! This guide will help you understand how to use each interface and manage your secrets safely.

🔐 What is C-Vault?

C-Vault is a secure system that stores and manages your sensitive information like passwords, API keys, and other secrets. Think of it as a digital safe where you can store important information and control who can access it.

Viewing and Selecting Keys:

  1. Sign In: Use your company credentials
  2. Browse Keys: Use the search bar to find specific keys
  3. Select a Key: Click on any key from the left panel

Managing Editors for a Key:

  1. Select a Key: Click on the key you want to manage
  2. View Current Editors: See who currently has access in the right panel
  3. Add New Users:
    • Type an email address in the search box
    • Select from the dropdown or type manually
    • Click "Add User"
  4. Remove Users: Click "Remove" next to any user you want to remove access for
  5. Save Changes: Click "Save Changes" to apply your modifications

📝 Interface 2: Secrets Management

Purpose: Update the actual values stored in your keys

Viewing Keys:

  1. Sign In: Enter your credentials
  2. Browse Keys: Use the search to find specific keys
  3. Select a Key: Click on any key to view/edit its value

Editing Key Values:

  1. Select an Editable Key: Keys you can edit will open an editor
  2. Enter New Value: Type the new secret value in the text area
  3. Save: Click "Save Changes" to update the key

🤖 Bot Operations & API Access

For automated systems and integrations, C-Vault provides bot access to read key values. The methods to access your C-Vault are built into AVRL-Fit.
